Sky-Tec is a Granbury, Texas-based manufacturer of lightweight, high-torque starters for piston aircraft engines. Established in 1988 by Gene Rochester and Tom Williams and was sold in 1995 to its present-day owners, Sky-Tec Partners, Ltd. Considered to be the leading provider of aircraft starters for piston engines.
