Skurup is a municipality and town in Scania in southernmost Sweden.

The municipality covers an area of 195.7 km². Of the total population of 13,714, 6,871 are male, and 6,843 are female. The population density of the community is 70 inhabitants per km². Skurup is a part of Skånetrafikens 8th line between Malmö and Ystad

Until the 1990's Swedens southernmost ski slope was located in Skurup
August Strindberg has lived in Skurup. His chair is exhibited on the castle of Svaneholm
Skurup is since 2005 considered a part of Greater Malmö by Statistics Sweden
Skurup belongs to the world elite in pumpkin agriculture. 2005's pumpkin was 582 kg.
Skurups Folk high school has one of Swedens most famous journalist educations.
