Skunk Cabbage

Skunk Cabbage refers to three foul smelling species in the Orontioideae subfamily of the arum family (not the cabbage family):
- Eastern Skunk Cabbage (Symplocarpus foetidus) -- commonly called simply "Skunk Cabbage" on the east coast of the United States.
- Western Skunk Cabbage (Lysichiton americanus) -- commonly called simply "Skunk Cabbage" on the west coast.
- Asian Skunk Cabbage (Lysichiton camtschatcense) of northeastern Asia.
