Skittish Empire

The Skittish Empire is a four piece comedy group composed of Christopher Bates, Matthew Keeler, Nick Smith and Vijay Verma, all of them students of Trent College in Nottingham. The group was created in late 2006 and performed their first show at the village hall in Weston-on-Trent, and plan to perform a short standup comedy tour around Derbyshire, over Easter.

On the 16th of December 2006 the empire performed a sold out show in the village hall in Weston-on-Trent, performing more than 2 hours of sketches and stand up. The show was a huge success for the group, and they will now go on to perform several similar shows over the Summer holidays 2007. With the assistance of of Toby Kenyon on sound and Miriam Hemstock on costumes.
