Skis Rossignol

Skis Rossignol S.A., or simply Rossignol, is a French manufacturer of ski equipment, located in Isère, France.

The company was founded in 1907 as a textile- and ski manufacturer. When Laurent Boix Vives bought the company in the 1950's, the company only focused on skiing equipment. Rossignol got a breakthorugh during the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, USA, and from then on the company grew.

In 2005, Rossignol was bought by the Australian boardsport equipment manufacturer Quiksilver.
