[edit] Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Skippyjon Jones is a Siamese kitten who, unsatisfied with being a cat, pretends that he is other animals. His mother disapproves of his behavior and sends him to his room, where he can "think about what it means to be a Siamese cat". Skippyjon becomes bored, and digs through his toy box and finds a mask, a pole and a cape. He enters his closet, finding himself in Old Mexico. Skippyjon becomes El Skippito, a great sword fighting chihuahua who battles banditos and bad bumblebeetos. He soon finds a band of bean-loving chihuahuas who call themselves "Los Chimichangos". The Chimichangos decide that El Skippito will be the one to free them from the bad bandito Alfredo Buzzito, a large bumblebee (really Skippyjon's birthday pinata)who steals their beans. El Skippito then battles the bumblebee. In a sword fight, Alfredo Buzzito pops, sending beans everywhere. The Chimichangos rejoice, claiming Skippyjon as their hero and celebrating the victory by making burritos.

[edit] Trivia

Mrs. Tinkley is shown as their family's owner. Skippyjon has three sisters: Ju-Ju Bee, Jilly Boo, and Jezebel. Skippyjon's mother is named Junebug Jones.
