Hey You, I Love Your Soul (1998) |
Skillet is the first, self-titled album from Christian rock band Skillet. Released in 1996 as an enhanced CD by Ardent Records and Forefront Records it showcases powerful Christian lyrics with a mild rock sound. Skillet was, at the time, a 3-piece band comprised of John Cooper on bass and vocals, Trey McClurkin on drums and back-up vocals and Ken Steorts on the guitar and synthesizer. Later evolution of the band would leave John Cooper as the only original member of the band.
