Skegness Sealions

The 'Skegness Sealions' is an English basketball team playing in the Lockets Non League 3rd Division, Central East Section. They play at the Skegness Sports Centre and average a crowd of just 37. They are affectionely known as the worst team in English basketball, with just 5 wins in 58 games, and just 1 of their last 33 away games.They're last win came in a derby victory over the Louth Yellow-Bellies in early March. They sit bottom of the league, and finishing in the bottom two this season would mean relegation the British Pro-Amateur Leagues. There last game was a slender 78-75 home defeat to the Ipswich Ioians meaning relegation is almost certain. The Sealions sit six points from safety with just three games left with an highly inferior points difference the task seems almost impossible. Their last 3 games is made up of two away games, at the Hunstaton Hatters and the Gainsborough Gunners with the seasons finale being played at home on Easter Saturday. In this game they will play relegation rivals Basketball Hull.
