SJphone
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
SJphone is a VoIP softphone by SJ Labs, Inc. This software allows you to speak with any other SIP softphones running on a PC or PDA, any stand-alone IP-phone, or using ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) with any traditional wired or mobile phone. It supports both the SIP and H.323 standard sets, NAT traversal, and works with most major ITSP like Free World Dialup, and IP-PBX and VoIP gateway vendors. SJphone is available for personal computers with MS Windows XP/Vista, MAC OS X and Linux. SJphone also works on most wireless PDAs or communicators like HP Ipaq, Fujitsu-Siemens PocketLOOX, Symbol, and many others.
SJphone is a highly customizable software and is used by hundreds of ITSPs over the world.
Attention: Having SJphone installed is not enough to talk to old good telephones. You have to subscribe to the VoIP service from any ITSP or install your own VoIP-PBX gateway.
You may download the free version of SJphone from the SJ Labs website. Latest version is 1.65 beta for Windows XP/Vista (March 27, 2007).
