Sixto Nolasco (born c. 1971) is a Dominican photographer, fashion expert, choreographer and make up artist who has worked with numerous Latin American celebrities, becoming a celebrity himself in the process.

Nolasco was almost left blind in his right eye when he was a baby, after he suffered an infection as a consequence of a soap accident as he was being given a bath. He was able to recuperate, however.

Nolasco's family moved from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico when Nolasco was a child.

A confessed fan of I Love Lucy, he spent his afternoons watching that telenovela and going to dance class. He would tell his parents that he was taking karate class instead. Nolasco also spent a great amount of time drawing, which would later earn him a job as a drawer with Revlon.

He opened a beauty salon in the Dominican Republic and studied psychology. He dropped out of his psychology class soon, however, because he saw much of himself on other people's problems. Then, he tried to study architecture, but he did not like the mathematical side of his architecture class, so he left college.

Moving on to New York as a young man, he worked at a photographer's studio, overlooking the make-up part of models. He also worked at McDonald's and used to charge his friends 75 cents to put make up on them. Nolasco struggled in New York, sometimes those 75 cents helped him get a hot dog or a train ride back home. One day, the photographer he worked for told him to try a shot at taking photos, and Nolasco enjoyed this experience so much, he bought his own, small camera and started taking pictures of models himself, many of which landed on the covers of important magazines.

Nolasco began to fly back and forth between New York and Puerto Rico when he was offered a job at a WAPA-TV show featuring Henry LaFont and El Casanova. two legendary comedians. He worked for free, as long as the network paid for his trips and credited him for his work after each of the shows. There, he met Miss Puerto Rico 1980, with whom he remains friends.

Later on, he established himself in Miami, where he would work with numerous publications and singers. Becoming friends with Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Nolasco became more involved with Hispanic show business figures.

Nolasco currently works as a fashion critic on the Univision television channel. On the Premios Lo Nuestro 2004, he was able to interview most of the stars that attended the gala event. He is known for dying his hair blond, and for the colorful way he often dresses.

Among the entertainers he has worked with, apart from Gloria Estefan, are Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Thalía and many others.
