The sixth Foo Fighters studio album was confirmed in an artist to artist interview of Dave Grohl by Tenacious D, on MySpace. Grohl said that the band were planning to enter the studio, with producer Gil Norton,[1] in April 2007 to record their sixth studio album. The new album is expected to be out by this summer.[citation needed]
