[edit] more clear disclaimer re: Wikipedia being user created/edited

Hi, I just found your response to my post last year about misinformation on a certain page and how this can mislead people who think, as I did, that Wikipedia is like traditional encyclopedias that are mostly free from opinion and have, presumably, been fact checked numerous times. The page I was talking about was on the Church of Scientology. I am a Scientologist and there is a lot of misinformation and fabrication on that page. Some of it is almost verbatim from other websites or articles that I have seen that spread the same misinformation. If, at least, there was a prominent disclaimer so that it was clear that Wikipedia is user created and user edited, then most intelligent people would know that if a user with a certain agenda has created a page, the information may not be completely truthful. Thanks for asking about this and sorry it took me so long to get to you. Linda Estabrook lindaestabrook@yahoo.com
