Sitafloxacin

Sitafloxacin (also called DU-6859a) is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that shows promise in treatment of Buruli ulcer. The molecule is founded by Daiichi Pharmceutical Co. Ltd, who have also brought olfoxacin and levofloxacin to the market. Sitafloxacin is currently under development in Japan.
