Siskin Children's Institute

Siskin Children's Institute is a non-profit organization in Chattanooga, Tennessee, dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs and their families. It's a mission that began a half-century ago with Mose and Garrison Siskin, two businessmen who devoted their lives to helping people with disabilities.

The vision of Siskin Children's Institute is to be the leader in advancing the field of early childhood special education and to build an inclusive society for people of all abilities.
The Institute is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with special needs and their families through excellence in education, support services, advocacy and community partnerships.
[edit] Education and Outreach
Siskin Children's Institute serves children, families and professionals through Siskin School and the Siskin Training and Resource Center. Siskin School provides a quality preschool education to young children with and without disabilities, including children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy and autism spectrum conditions. The Siskin Training and Resource Center shares disability information with families, college students and professionals through a dynamic array of outreach programs. The center offers a lending library, community workshops, and training and consultation services for professionals in education, health care and related fields.
