[edit] Sir james paul

Hello! Sir james paul is not the appropriate spot to post information about yourself, because that's the encyclopedic part of the Wikipedia website. User:Sir james paul/page 1, however, is available for personal information about yourself. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 17:28, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Again, please don't make a template about yourself either (Template:James Paul). Please see our WP:BIO and WP:VANITY guidelines. Thanks. ZimZalaBim (talk) 18:07, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of Christians

Please don't add yourself to List of Christians. This list is mainly for links to biographies of people "notable due to their professed Christianity or for their influence on the popularity or development of some group of professed Christians." This is not to say you're not Christian, but just this article is meant for those who have biographic articles already in Wikipedia. Also, please be aware of our vanity guidelines. Thanks.--ZimZalaBim (talk) 18:07, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The christian journal

And, unfortunately, this article is about a non-notable website and was speedy deleted per the deletion policy. Please see WP:WEB before making article about websites. Given your recent edits and that you're new, perhaps visiting the welcome page would be a good start. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 18:13, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

You have recently re-created the article The christian journal, which was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not re-create the article. If you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a deletion review. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 03:55, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity

Perhaps you'd like to consider visiting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity page to find helpful tasks you could compete (after reviewing the introduction linked to above). --ZimZalaBim (talk) 18:15, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] JP Ministries

The article JP Ministries has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. This happened because the article seems to be about a subject but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Please stop creating articles and take the time to read some of the links suggested to you about notability guidelines. Thanks. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 03:59, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Signatures

As a courtesy for other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info see the talk page guidelines. Thank you. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 13:26, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notable website guidelines

Please read and familiarize yourself with the guidelines on the apporpriateness of articles for websites before you create more articles based on your personal ministry pages. Also, please do not recreate deleted pages. Feel free to seek a deletion review if you so desire. Thanks. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 13:41, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Don't remove speedy deletion tags

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 20:57, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. You may place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page if you oppose an article's speedy deletion. Thanks. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 21:29, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 21:35, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you create an inappropriate page such as JPMinistries, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have been warned numerous times about creating articles about yourself and your website. Don't keep doing it or you will be blocked. NawlinWiki 02:17, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy Delete

You nominated Richard Peck for speedy delete, claiming this person was not notable. Given that the article points out the person has written 25 books and received several awards, I believe your nomination was made in bad faith, perhaps (though this is speculation) because some of the articles you created have been deleted. Please see WP:POINT. I am asking you to please stop nominating articles such as this for deletion and marking other articles as advertising when they are nothing of the sort. If you continue, you will be blocked. --Yamla 20:47, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] JP Ministries

If you really must, go to Deletion Review, and review the article. But it will most probably fail. Or you could recreate it, we could put it up for articles for deletion, where it will most absolutely and certainly fail. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 21:59, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Sir James Paul

Please stop creating the userpage User:Sir James Paul. If you want to change your username, please follow the instructions here. Thanks. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 23:33, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Make it work before you spread it :-)

Hello! Currently the Esperanza concept isn't working too well. Please try and help out with fixing the problems with it before you spread the concept to other wikis. Thanks! :-) Kim Bruning 00:58, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Esperanza

Thanks, but no thanks. I believe that Esperanza should not be started in Wikiquote yet as for problems we are having at this moment with Esperanza. Thank you for the offer but I have to reject it at this point in time.

[edit] Re: Esperanza's Weaknesses

The issues is less about any weaknesses of Esperanza, and more about what the encylopedia feels is best for it. Regardless, it seems like waiting until problems here are smoothed out would be a good idea, as others have said. -- Natalya 01:54, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thirty-Nine Articles

Hi. I reverted your edit at Thirty-Nine Articles because the article already contained a synopsis of each of the Articles, and we should not be pasted entire contents of the topic of an article within the source text of the article itself. Thanks for the enthusiasm, though. ZimZalaBim (talk) 03:48, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Just FYI - WikiSource already has the source text here. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 04:13, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External links

Hi. I notice that you're adding external links to articles, which usually is great. But please be sure to review the external link guidelines as to what are appropriate links to add to pages. Normally, we should avoid overlly commercial links when possible, and there's no need to add links to pages that simply mirror/license Wikipedia content. Also, please be sure to format the links properly. Thanks. ZimZalaBim (talk) 03:58, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Many of the links you added [1] [2] were from answers.com or other sites [3] which merely republish the content of the very Wikipedia article you were editing. Others merely repeated the same content already provided by an existing link [4]. You also replaced valid links with seemingly random ones that that were less informative or insightful: [5]. I assume good faith, but it almost appears that you just did some Google searches on these topics to find some quick links to add, perhaps to increase your edit count to qualify for membership in Esperanza [6]. So, while I appreciate your enthusiasm to adding links to articles, please take more care as I noted above. ZimZalaBim (talk) 14:19, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Membeship should be fine

I'll add you to the list right now.--Ed ¿Cómo estás? 04:03, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcome, Sir james paul, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact our administrator general Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

[edit] Welcome

Very nice to see you at Countering systemic bias in religion. It will be good if we can get that WikiProject more active again. So much to be done. I am on a personal level most interested in Taoism but I edit many religion-related articles in the cause of NPOV. Sometimes, however, I let my own biases shine through so it is nice to have a wide range of people involved. Itsmejudith 23:08, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Diocesan Infobox

To the Members of the WikiProject Catholicism

I have proposed at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Catholicism an infobox for Catholic Dioceses. I have not gotten any feedback on this proposal, so I’m culling feedback, advice, corrections, etc. for this. If you have the time, would you check out User:SkierRMH/Diocese_Infobox and give me some feedback! Thanks much!!

[edit] Adminship?

Hi. I noticed that you're now trying to apply to become an admin here. I strongly urge you to reconsider and spend more time editing, familiarizing yourself with policy, as well as the administrators' reading list and how-to guide, as well as the guide to requests for adminship. Similar to your failed attemps to become a sysop at simple.wikipedia, I must say that I feel you have much to learn before you could become an admin here. Just my $0.02. ZimZalaBim (talk) 04:02, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

On a related note, you asked me how to gain respect of people here on Wikipedia. RFA is certainly not the way to go about 'gaining' that respect, as its probably one of the more grueling and exacting areas of WP. It can, instead, recognize or display respect already gained. I would encourage you to continue editing thoughtfully, make good use of talk pages both for articles and for userspace, and read up on the five pillars of Wikipedia. I would not want to see an RFA "go down in flames" when you could wait, learn, and do well later on. -- nae'blis 15:55, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding Air America

I didn't change anyone's date. See for yourself: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk%3AAir_America_Radio&diff=92975917&oldid=87892117 .V. 18:52, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Marguerite Bourgeoys

I noticed your interest in editing/improving Wikipedia:WikiProject Saints articles. The above one could use an image upload if you have a source. Thanks! Stormbay 20:53, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A concern

Hi. Editing activity related to your attempts to gain adminship across various wiki spaces has caused me to be concerned that you're not familiar with this important policy: WP:SOCK. By any chance are you editing under more than one user account and participating in votes/discussions with both? If so, you must stop. If not, sorry for the inconvenience. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 01:24, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
