[edit] naming of this article

Is there another "George Dick-Lauder, 12th Baronet" - if not then this page should be called "George Dick-Lauder, 12th Baronet" and not "Sir George Dick-Lauder, 12th Baronet " - regards --Vintagekits 14:34, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Rubbish, as you well know - [1] - Kittybrewster 15:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Please remember WP:CIVIL, I would prefer if you did not label my good faith edits as rubbish.--Vintagekits 15:19, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Are there two "George Andrew Dick-Lauder"'s then?--Vintagekits 15:20, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
MOS says Sir {first name unless he is better known by his second) (Surname), 12th Baronet. As you were told under Sir Henry Chamberlain, 1st Baronet. - Kittybrewster 15:30, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Actually the MOS isnt clear on that and Tyrenius actually disagreed with your assessment - can can the middle name be used to distingush between two memebers of the same family with similar names?--Vintagekits 15:35, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Even if there were two George Dick-Lauder's both use the prefix "Sir" if both were baronets. I don't understand the point of this discussion. This artcile follows Wikipedia guidelines.--Counter-revolutionary 15:36, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Please folks, centralise this discussion rather than splatting it over a dozen article talk pages. I suggest Category talk:Baronets. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 15:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
