Sirsilla is located at 18.38° N 78.83° E^[1]. It has an average elevation of 322 metres (1056 feet).

As of 2001 India census^GRIndia, Sirsilla had a population of 65,016. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Sirsilla has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 51%. In Sirsilla, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.

vemulawada-it is a famous temple located at vemulawada(sircilla division).it is temple of lord shiva dating back to 8th century a.d, said to be contructed by chalukyas surprisingly .it is a temple into having both traces of vysnavism ,slivism coupled with durgah where Hindus and muslim visit with great enthuiasm the towm is godded by nagaradhisah as seem as temples guuarding the main temple of shiva bhimaiswara allayam,mahalakshmi temple,laxmi narasimha swamy temple , goddess baddi pochava temple anjayanaya temple ,ayyapa swamy temple or added attraction in the surrounding sri krishna on the top of kalindi snake contructed on the hill attract pilligrims.

upper manair dam-

it is a tank of 2.2 t.m.c capacity contructed by the nizam king on the manair. it is a nasolary dam using rock inside and earthen bund outside with two spill way because of scandy rainfall project has not received enough water for the last 12 yrs and hence government has taken up lift irrigation project from proposed mid manair.
