Sir William Arbuthnot, 3rd Baronet

Sir William Wedderburn Arbuthnot, 3rd Baronet (22 August 1831 – 5 June 1889) was a Scottish baronet and soldier.
The son of Sir Robert Arbuthnot, 2nd Baronet and Anne FitzGerald was a Major, having served in the 18th Hussars. On 4 March 1873, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy. Arbuthnot married Alice Margaret Tompson, daughter of Reverend Matthew Carrier Tompson, on 11 June 1863. They had five children:
- Rear-Admiral Sir Robert Keith Arbuthnot, 4th Baronet (1864–1916)
- Aline Henriette Arbuthnot (1866–1913)
- Brigadier Sir Dalrymple Arbuthnot, 5th Baronet (1867–1941)
- Captain Reginald Ramsay Arbuthnot (1869–1900)
- Major William FitzGerald Arbuthnot (1875–1955)
