Sir Richard Bickerton, 1st Baronet

Sir Richard Bickerton (June 23, 1727 - February 25, 1792) was a vice-admiral in the British Royal Navy and the first Baronet of Upwood. He served in several naval engagements, and died commander-in-chief at Plymouth in 1792. His son Richard Hussey Bickerton took over his barony following his death.
