Sir John Baird, 2nd Baronet

Sir John Baird of Newbyth, 2nd Baronet (13 October 1686 – September 1745) was a Scottish politician.
The son of Sir William Baird, 1st Baronet and Helen Gilmour, he succeeded to his father's baronetcy in 1737. Baird was Member of Parliament (MP) for Edinburghshire from 1715 to 1722. He died, aged 58 in Berwick. With his death the baronetcy became extinct.
Baird was married to Janet Dalrymple, daughter of Sir David Dalrymple, 1st Baronet. Their marriage was childless.
