Sir Gilbert Claughton School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sir Gilbert Claughton School was a secondary school located in Dudley, England. It opened in 1904 as a secondary school to serve the expanding Queens Cross area of the town, but soon became a grammar school. Its status changed to comprehensive in 1975 and falling numbers on the school roll saw it close in 1990. Most of the school's pupils were transferred to Castle High School, Holly Hall School and Earls High School.
