Sir Charles Shuckburgh, 12th Baronet

Sir Charles Gerald Stewkley Shuckburgh, 12th Baronet, TD JP, (born 28 February 1911 – 4 May 1988) was High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1965-66.
He was the son of Sir Gerald Francis Stewkley Shuckburgh, 11th Baronet, and was educated at Harrow School and Trinity College, Oxford.
His younger brother, Basil (born 1916), a Lieutenant in the King's Royal Rifle Corps, was killed in action in Crete in 1941.
He served a Major in the 11th City of London Yeomanry and was a Justice of the Peace for Warwickshire.
In 1935, he married Remony Dorothy Bell, of Buenos Aires, who died in 1936. Subsequently, he married Nancy Diana Mary Lubbock in 1937.
He was appointed High Sheriff of Warwickshire for 1965-66.
