Sinner is an album by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, released June 13, 2006, by Blackheart Records Group. While most of the contents previously appeared on the Japan-only release Naked (2004), it is her first record of new material released in the United States since "Pure 'n' Simple" in 1994. Singles released include "A.C.D.C." (originally by Sweet) and "Riddles" (Jett's first-ever political song).

An edited "clean" version was also released. The CD includes enhanced content, consisting of a lyrics sheet (in PDF format) and video of the recording of "A.C.D.C.".

[edit] Trivia

  • The politically-themed song "Riddles" includes audio samples of these speeches:

"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don't know we don't know." – Donald Rumsfeld, February 12, 2002

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." – President George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., September 17, 2002
