Sinnai is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 12 km northeast of Cagliari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 15,968 and an area of 223.4 km2.[1]
The municipality of Sinnai contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Tasonis, Solanas, Torre delle Stelle, and San Gregorio.
Sinnai borders the following municipalities: Burcei, Castiadas, Dolianova, Maracalagonis, Quartucciu, San Vito, Settimo San Pietro, Soleminis, Villasalto, Villasimius.
