[edit] Career
Sinju started his professional career at the age of 15. He started in the game Jedi Knight II (JK2) where he played for the team 'Insane Force', which was one of the top force fighting teams of all time. Hevener later broke into the American Counter Strike (CS) players scene with the teams "charge" "iFear|cs" "LANb4TIME", but he made a name for himself with the team "nGc" or "New Global Conflict".
Hevener, along with long-time teammate Ali "Fatal" Par, created many teams together that played in various leagues. He is known as one of the best CS:Source players in the world. He is a 3 time Cyberathlete Professional League world champion. He also has several CAL-Invite championships under his belt, as well as two World Cyber Games championships and a GGL championship.
While Hevener prefers using the automatic rifles the M4 and AK-47 in CSS, he is best known for his pistol skills with the USP.
He has gone under many names. Sinju has been his original handle, but while playing Jedi Knight II, he used the handle 'CloWn' for quite sometime. He has also used the names Azreal, Ju1ce, and Spiral.
[edit] Techniques
Hevener pioneered the "quickswitch" technique. In this technique, the sniper switches to another item such as his pistol or grenades and then back to his sniper rifle. This allowed a sniper to fire his next shot with accuracy in a period of time less than would have been experienced by simply waiting without switching weapons. However, as of Counter-Strike version 1.6 this technique no longer works as Valve, the company that owns the rights to Counter-Strike, added a new delay when switching weapons to the AWM. After switching to it, the player has to wait a specific amount of time before they are able shoot it.
However he is most famous for USP pistol skills. In many matches, he has 'eco' rushed and eliminated the opposing team with his USP only. Many Counter-Strike:Source players look up to Hevener, as he has the best 'USP' shot in the world, according to gotfrag and amped esportsĀ©.
[edit] Personal life
As of November 2006, Sinju has retired from Professional Gaming. He lives in Oregon with his wife Melissa and his dog kakoa. He will casually play Counter-Strike:Source from time to time with ex-teammate Fatal in scrims, but under a different name.
