Sinhalaye Mahasammatha Bhoomiputhra Pakshaya (Sinhala Sons of the Soil Party) is a minor Sinhala Buddhist political party in Sri Lanka, led by Dr. Harischandra Wijetunga.

In the 1994 presidential elections, Wijetunga stood as the SMBP candidate. He polled 32,651 votes (0.43%).

For some time SMBP was a member of the United National Front, but left it just ahead of the 2001 elections.
