Singing candle

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A singing candle is an electro-acoustic installation and phenomenon. The movements of a candle flame are transformed into sound by means of a light dependent resistor (LDR). The sound waves, in return, have an infuence on the flame, through an amplifier and loudspeaker.
Possibly this chaotic system may reveal some kind of telepathic effect, where the thoughts or state-of-mind of the observer seem to influence the system[citation needed].
