I'm a Computing and Information Systems undergraduate at Athabasca University in Alberta, Canada.

My interests include political philosophy, environmentalism, free software (as defined by the Free Software Foundation), amateur radio, and early home computers.

As time permits, I'm helping to improve Wikipedia's coverage of subjects in amateur radio. (This is also helping to fill in gaps in my own understanding!)

Articles I've recently touched or am currently working on include:

• Packet radio, plus AX.25, terminal node controller, Bell 103 modem, and Bell 202 modem
• Amplitude modulation and frequency modulation
• Amplitude-shift keying, on-off keying, and audio frequency-shift keying
