If the flashback scenes in "The Friday Night Slaughter" are set in 1999, does that mean that Simon actually joined Studio 60... in 1999 rather than 2001 as stated in the body of this article? Or is the flashback unreliable as a source of "canonical" material as Matt's state of altered consciousness has conflated real and unreal, and possibly even the chronology of events? Well, in addition to the problem about the reliability of the flashback, in "Friday Night Slaughter" he was just there for an audition, so it's not (yet) clear that he joined in 1999. Do you remember which episode the 2001 date was mentioned in? schi ^talk 05:21, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
