[edit] Vandalism

This article seems to have attracted a lot of edits associating Hackett with FEAST and BMOA. Please provide independent references if this is verifiable, and desist if not. I have looked at both sites and not found any evidence of this supposed support. --Scott Davis Talk 13:57, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

In light of the recent vandalism, I think this article should be put on one of the levels of protection. --Bugman 14:26, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
Just use short blocks, better than protecting. - brenneman {L} 23:26, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] not Simon Hackett Wines

OK, sorry I deleted that; I was careful to say "appears to be" because I really wasn't certain. As someone who is sadly lacking an intimate knowledge of South Australia, I found it somewhat unclear and confusing? I tried to add a link to Wine's name, but he doesn't have an article (at least, not yet...hint, hint). Would it be possible to clarify the statement a bit and mention why they are istaken for each other (well, besides the obvious I guess)? Just curious :) --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 07:49, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Simon Hackett Wines is probably not big enough to be worthy of an article on notability grounds. However it does have a prominent sign on the road into McLaren Vale, frequently raising the thought that it could be the same Simon Hackett. They are unrelated. I agree that the line looks odd, but it is valuable to note that there are two different Simon Hacketts in the Adelaide area. --Scott Davis Talk 11:52, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ADSL2+

Is there consensus for any mention of ADSL2+ technology on Simon Hackett's biography page? If so, what do we want there? This revert war is becoming painful. Here is an edit putting the ADSL2+ back, replacing the link that supports the remaining sentence. --Scott Davis Talk 21:52, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes I agree that no discussion regarding ADSL2+ should be mentioned on this profile page. It would appear that there is some doubt regarding claims on both sides of the fence. --59.167.63.34 23:27, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
