Simran Bagga

Simran Bagga, née Simran Nawal and known professionally as Simran, is an Indian film actress and her real name is "Rishibala". She was born on April 4, 1976 in Mumbai and made her debut in the Hindi film Tere Mere Sapne. She later on moved south to the Tamil movie industry and Telugu movie industry where she established herself as an actress of repute. Her notable films include Kanannethere Thondrinal, Vaali and Kannathil Muthamittal.
Simran is a versatile dancer and can perform Bharatanatyam with the same ease as she performs Salsa. She can change expressions quickly and has a photogenic face. She is famous for her hip-shaking and dances in a titillating and sensual way. She speaks Punjabi, Tamil, Hindi and English.
Although she had a stupendous success in the Tamil film industry, her later part of he career was marred by the death of her sister and her alleged affairs with Raju Sundaram , a choreographer and actor Kamalahassan." [[1]]
On December 2, 2004, she married Deepak Bagga, a childhood friend. She gave birth to a boy on June 13, 2005 and currently resides in Delhi. She has taken an extended break from acting since her marriage.
She joined AIADMK before 2006 Tamilnadu Assembly elections along with her husband Deepak and campaigned extensively for Jayalalitha.
