Simple Soap Binding Profile

Simple Soap Binding Profile ( official abbreviation is SSBP) is a specification from the Web Services Interoperability industry consortium. It is intented as a support profile for the WS-I Basic Profile.
This profile defined the way WSDL (Web Services Description Language) are to bind operations to a specific transport protocol Soap.
It has been created along with the Basic Profile 1.1. The content of this profile was integrated in the Basic Profile 1.0 but was outsourced in order for the WS-I to be able to reference it in other documents than the Basic Profile. Thus the Basic Profile 1.0 is roughly equivalent to the Basic Profile 1.1 with the Simple Soap Binding Profile 1.0.
