Simon Willis

Simon Willis worked for BBC Look North (North East and Cumbria) from 1983-1999 as a reporter and presenter. He was previously married to BBC presenter Wendy Gibson. He now works for BBC Scotland as a reporter and presenter on Newsnight Scotland. Simon's own website. He has remarried.

Simon's a regular contributor to TGO (The Great Outdoors) Magazine, the UK's premier monthly consumer publication for serious hillwalkers and backpackers, specialising in writing about the practice and equipment associated with lightweight hiking.

In 2006 Simon began Podcasting interviews with Sea Kayakers about expeditions, favourite routes and issues of interest at SeaKayakRoutes.comand SeaKayakPodcasts.com
