Simon Tatham

Simon Tatham (born May 3, 1977) is an English programmer known primarily for creating and maintaining PuTTY, a free software implementation of Telnet and SSH clients for Win32 and Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. He is also well-known for his work on NASM and for his essay, How to Report Bugs Effectively, which many software developers direct users to read before reporting bugs to them.

He attended Cambridge University, and currently works at ARM.
