Simon Perry

Simon Perry is a professor at Marshall University and the chair of its political science department. In 1994 he was appointed as the first Drinko Fellow. Hailing from Gilbert, West Virginia, Dr. Perry received his undergraduate degree in political science and history from Berea College in Kentucky. He also has a master's degree from the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D from Michigan State University. Dr. Perry was strongly influenced by Richard Hofstadter and C. Wright Mills.
