Simon O'Brien (born 18 September 1979) is an Australian flatland BMX rider. He is probably Australia's best flatlander at the moment and has won the American X Games gold medal for flatland (the last rider to do so since ESPN scrapped the event) and many other competitions around the world. Since then he has gone onto win Australia's BMX Games two times in a row and took out the "bomb trick" in 2005. Simon recently has completed his first solo DVD project.
