Simon MacCorkindale

Simon Charles Prendered MacCorkindale[1] (born February 12, 1952) is a well-known British actor who trained at Theatre of Arts in London.

MacCorkindale was born in Cambridgeshire, England to Peter and Gill MacCorkindale. He has a younger brother, Duncan.

He lives on a stud-farm near Exmoor with his wife, British actress Susan George, to whom he has been married since 1984.

He has a vast number of acting credits to his name having appeared in numerous television and film roles both in United Kingdom and America. These include The Sword and the Sorcerer, Death on the Nile, Quatermass, Falcon Crest, and Jaws 3. He served as the male lead on at least two television programs: Manimal in 1983 and Counterstrike from 1990-1993.

He is currently playing Harry Harper in the BBC One medical drama Casualty.

He is currently on a sabbatical from "Casualty", touring the UK in a revival of the Agatha Christie thriller "The Unexpected Guest".

He married actress Fiona Fullerton on 10 July 1976, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1982.

He then married actress Susan George, and has produced/directed a number of her films.
