Simon Grace is a fictional character in the Spiderwick Chronicles. He is a nine-year-old twin brother to Jared and has an older sister named Mallory. The three live with their recently divorced mother.

They had to move temporarily from New York because they didn’t have enough money to pay the rent, so they moved into their Aunt Lucinda’s old run-down shack.

Simon is a caring person, who loves all animals. His two favorite pets are a pair of mice named Jeffrey and Lemon Drop. Later in the story he meets a Griffin, makes friends with, and names him Byron.

Simon, with the help of his brother and sister, experience many adventures in and around the Spiderwick Estate.
