Simon Atlee (October 9, 1971 – December 26, 2004) was a British fashion photographer and the fiancé of supermodel Petra Němcová, whom he frequently photographed. He was drowned in Thailand by the tsunami following 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. At first he was presumed missing, but his body was found and identified on March 3, 2005, on the shores of Sumatra (near the epicenter of the earthquake that caused the Tsunami). His favorite saying was "A day without a smile is a day wasted."
