[edit] The Order
Hey. Thaddius here. I'm glad you find that article interesting. I'm not sure is Gans' opinions on the matter are final, but, as far as I know, Silent Hill 3 the game mentions them explicitly as being 'The Order'. I personally don't care about it either way, but I will look into this myself, even if I have to replay SH3 to find out. I'll keep you posted. --Thaddius 21:35, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

- I just looked into it and you're right, the acctual name of the cult in Silent Hill is never named, and while it's possible that the might be called that, it isn't mentioned explicitly as so. As for the cult sects, I did not add those. People keep coming in and changing them and I don't really care about the specific names. It seems people are arguing over them. For now I will move 'The Order (Sient Hill)' to 'Silent Hill Cult' and edit the page as such. --Thaddius 21:43, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

- Despite what Gans says, the prescence of Dahlia and Alessa Gillespie would suggest that they are the same, just not the same type of cult (as expressed in the comparison paragraph in the Order article). This is common when artists take creative liscence with source material. If you would have the point pressed I'm sure that only minor changes would be necessary. For now we can continue this discussion in the discussion page of the article itself. Also, please remember to sign your posts with fours tildes (~), it is usually the key in the top left of the keyboard, under ESC. This will 'sign' your posts with your name, the time and date of the post. --Thaddius 21:57, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey, it's me again. I'm just here to bug you about the translated lost memories links we were discussing back in October. Turns out that the translated memories aren't verifiable since they're fan translations.
Also, that Chritophe Gans quote you found for The Order (Silent Hill) doesn't have anything there (it says 'there's nothing here' in French when you click on the link). If you can find another link for that we can add it back to the Order article. --Thaddius 16:25, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
