[edit] Who am I?

I'm Silverfish. My name comes indirectly from Goldfinger. On some messageboards and the like I'm known as Bronzefinger, but I decided at some point I wanted a different name, so thought about Silverfinger, then settled on Silverfish.

I'm a 23 year old maths graduate, from England. I am rather keen on computer games, and have written about several of them. I have in particular gotten into retro gaming, through emulation. I have been into SNES emulation for quite a while, but have also discovered MAME, an arcade game emulator, relatively recently, playing some old favourites, but some games I've never heard of. I also play emulated N64 games, but the state of emulation doesn't seem to be that good yet. I've contributed quite a few screenshots through MAME, for various games.

I have also been getting into games I've missed first time around for the PC, such as The Longest Journey, Hostile Waters, and the Tomb raider games. This is part because my computer is getting on a bit, but as I don't buy that that regularly, that leaves quite a few very well recieve games that I haven't played, and can pick up quite cheaply. I have induldged in Abandonware, in particular through Home of the Underdogs, and rather enjoy Typing of the Dead

Games are probably the bulk of my major contributions, although for some reason I've found myself writing about old game shows.

I am interested in maths, hence my degree, but there doesn't seem to be very much that I can usefully add that isn't covered already.
