[edit] External links

Please add an External link to Silverton's official website which is http://www.silverton.org.au it contains more information than the one page that you have on offer here at wikipedia. This link is not for advertisement it is for eductaion. I see on the other SIlverton's wikipedia pages that they have links to there community websites so could you please leave the link to the SIlverton New SOuth Wales community website there. Thank you —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.238.59.95 (talkcontribs).

It's extremely difficult to judge a website when it's not yet complete nor open for viewing. As of now, the website is a simple splash spage, stating "Website launching soon". It's hardly worth an external link as it stands. -- Longhair\talk 05:23, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
The website will be launching tommorrow. It is the official website of the Silverton village community, the towns council so to speak. I have read your guidelines and adding a link to a communinty website that offers information and is not for personal gain is permitted. I understand a splash page is not helpful but i will add the link tommorrow when the website is Live. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.238.59.95 (talkcontribs).
The site looks professional as is and I do believe what you're saying about the website being community based, but let's wait until the site is open before we add it ok? ;) -- Longhair\talk 06:25, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

I have added the link to the community website. The website is live an active so you can check it out to see that it actually is the community website. Cheers.
