[edit] Trivia excess

Removed the trivia excess that didn't pertain to this particular production.

If you can work something into the main piece, it would be much more relevant to the article.

[edit] Filming locations?

I've just deleted a claim that the track-level view of the train approaching the dead-end terminus was shot at Montreal's Windsor station. This is because I've previously seen it claimed that the same shot was taken at the Chicago & Northwestern's station in Chicago. (Of course the passenger concourse in the same scene is Toronto Union.)

As I recall, the person making the Chicago claim also stated that the freight yards in the scene where the train is about to become a runaway are on the C&NW; if so, this would mean that filming was not exclusively on CPR locations either. The IMDB accepts the station location as Chicago, but that's not conclusive since they also depend on user-contributed information.

Anyone got a solid source on this? 207.176.159.90 01:48, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

...they could have used stock footage. the one quick scene of the wheels going by shows them painted silver. the actual wheels on the cars used were painted black.
