Talk:Silver Line (shipping company)

The photograph which I took has been deleted, and I don't know why, there is no note, and I released all rights.

Correction, it's back. TKU! JohnClarknew 06:04, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I put this page together, because I sailed for over 3 years on the Silverwalnut, and later the Silvertarn during the Korean War. It was a bit startling to find out that the Tarn had run aground on a Japanese island, and had to be abandoned in 1970. I noticed that the Silver Line had no mention anywhere that I could find. I am indebted to Ted Finch, S. Swiggum and M. Kohli of TheShipsList who, when I brought it to their attention, immediately put together a listing of all of the ships of the line, and now as can be seen, the history can be told. Just one of many storied merchant shipping companies.

If any of the old crew members are still around, I hope we can hear from them, on this page perhaps. JohnClarknew 19:30, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
