A creek in western N.C. just west of Morganton. It is where some Morrisons settled in 1752 when given a Granville Land Grant for a little more than 500 acres. The Morrisons came from PA and are related to some other Morrisons who settled along 3rd and 4th creeks surrounding what is now Statesville, N.C.
