Silo Theater

The Silo Theater is a collective of multi disciplinary artists based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The group formed in 1995 in a squatted grain silo on the south bank of the river IJ. The artistic style of the groups shows can be characterized as non-verbal, non-narrative, and object oriented.
Productions include: Kaar onder de Utrechtse Brug 1996, Torentijd 1997, De Vertraging 1998, W.E.G. 1999, PLANETarium Silo 2000, 60 Degrees 2002.
The core members of the group are Milou Veling, Jochem Hartz, Peter J. Charlton, Bart Sabel, and Miranda Kolvoort.
The director of the 2002 show 60 Degrees was Henk Schut who later went on to become the artistic director of the long standing Dutch group Dogtroep.

Also a number of location theater productions in Pula, Croatia; Hong Kong, China; and the finale of the Oerol Festival 2005, the latter in combination with another Dutch group Tuig.
The group also produced a short movie in 2004 called The Secret Eyes Of Karlo Rojc.
