Silly Boys

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Silly Boys" is a song by the Canadian band Klaatu, which appeared on their third album, Sir Army Suit. However, it contained something very interesting when played in reverse. "Silly Boys" in its normal form (the way it appeared on Sir Army Suit) isn't very understandable, as the casual listener would note that the lyrics are unintelligible.

[edit] The "Real" Lyrics

Klaatu placed a robot-sounding vocoder over most of the vocals. However, every other verse is an unedited (aside from backwards) vocalization. However, when played backwards, one can hear the lyrics to an earlier Klaatu song, "Anus Of Uranus".

[edit] The "Fake" Lyrics

The lyrics printed on the lyric sheet were created by typing what might sound like what was being said backwards. The lyrics, when printed on the sheet, were also printed backwards, which originally gave people the idea to play the song backwards to see what was there.
