Silesian Planetarium (Polish: Planetarium Śląskie) - biggest and the oldest planetarium and astronomical observatory in Poland was founded in 4 December 1955 to commemorate a great astronomer - Nicolaus Copernicus. Situated in the Silesian culture and refreshment park in Katowice and Chorzów districts of Silesia.
