Large Silla Jar (Food Container) 12-1/2" in Height and 10-1/4" in Diameter. Rare container in the traditional gray ware but with a mossy-green glaze. It has a raised base to elevate it from the table or ground with typical vertical openings. There is a hatched design on the lower part and at the flaring of the neck there are three concentric rings. Silla dynasty, 8th/9th century.
