[edit] Summary

Marquetry tangram table by Silas Kopf at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. The table was made as part of a collaborative exhibition of furniture inspired by Chinese artwork. It is one of a set that can be arranged into various shapes. The paper and pencil on the surface of the table are trompe l'oeil images, made entirely of different shades of flat veneer. Photo by Sasha Kopf (Silas' daughter).
